One Shameless Weekend by Katherine L. Evans ~ Release & Review

Title: One Shameless Weekend
Series: A Shameless Love Novel
Author: Katherine L. Evans
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 5, 2020

If your arrogant jerk, but hot-as-hell boss promises to split a multi-million-dollar commission with you for pretending to be his girlfriend for one weekend, you just do it. You just can’t sleep with him. And you definitely can’t let him get you pregnant.
Oops.
I’ve been floundering at my new high-dollar sales job for months. I’m this close to getting canned. So when Colin Flannery, the cocky sales director for Platinum Aviation, offers to let me in on closing a major deal, I don’t have to think twice.
All I had to do was spend one weekend schmoozing clients with him while we pretended to be a couple.
All I had to do was resist his hooded, sleepy bedroom eyes and his long, lean body.
All I had to do was not do it again the second night.
All the condom had to do was not break.
And now, all I have to do is figure out how to tell the guy who hates my guts that he’s going to be a father.
Piece of f*cking cake.

Review

So this is not your normal romance book and I have to say I enjoyed that it was different. I mean Elle and Colin meet in a comical way or at least I thought it was. What a simple coffee grab could turn into so much more. Despite having a great job, Colin had a rough upbringing. He had to work his way up and make a name for himself. The bad thing is that his brother just hasn't gotten his act together and he's constantly bailing him out. He is his brother's keeper. Elle, grew up with a misconception of love and how to properly be raised. She went to good schools and knew what she wanted. One weekend changes everything for these two. Sure it was a business deal but it turned into them letting their guards down and having fun. Apparently to much fun lol. This book has a lot of heart in it. Sure Elle and her bestie Ceclia didn't really like Colin at first but he has this way of growing on them. This is when things go different. Elle finally was able to fulfill her dreams and help others. She was a nature at it. I loved that she had spitfire and didn't let Colin push her around. She also had sweet and funny moments with him as well. This was a great book and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!!
