To say I loved Spark would be an understatement, there are so many elements I adored but primarily it was Nick Gallo.
He is good hearted, hot as hell and about to get thrown a curve ball he didn't expect.
That ball comes in the form of a sweet little thing named Jo.
Jo is different from the heroines we've met before in Chelle's books, her life vs the Gallo lifestyle couldn't be more opposite. Everything they are she's never known.
Jo is running from her ex and the paparazzi when she and Nick cross paths, being a good guy he offers to help her and from there his life will never be the same.
At first I wasn't sure about Jo, it took a few chapters to warm up to her but once I did I loved her and realized while she may be a bit naïve she'll fit in just fine.
What else did I love besides Nick?
The family, the love, the craziness and if you know me anything about me from my reviews you know that I was jumping up and down when I read James Caldo. Nick's great an all but we all have our favorites and Izzy an James will always be mine.
The end of the book though, I'm still cussing you Chelle. This needs to be made right asap!!
Spark is what you would expect from the author and the Gallo family, lots of love and interfering relatives but a great story with strong, honest to goodness people. I cannot wait for the next book, literally I'm need what comes next quick.
